Who is being targeted?

The target market is comprised of shoppers who want to keep our community livable and to continue to buy the variety of products and services offered by Bothell businesses.

What is the benefit to our audience?

Research shows that the most compelling and motivating reasons for shopping locally have generally focused on retaining the unique and special character of our hometowns, as opposed to becoming “any-town U.S.A.”. Research also shows non-profits receive greater support from local businesses and locally owned businesses have deeper community roots. The success of Bothell businesses also circulates sales tax dollars back into the local economy which would add to the city’s general budget.

What is planned for 2010?

• Update BuyBothell Guide to Goods & Services Directory
    -Include a map of Bothell
• Participate in both Music in the Park and Riverfest
    -BuyBothell booth at each event
    -Opportunity for participating BuyBothell members to promote their business
• Create and distribute BuyBothell posters featuring our Sponsors
• Email a quarterly newsletter
• Place BuyBothell ads in the Bothell-Kenmore Reporter and BuyBothell Guide to Goods & Services
• Place promotional material in University of Washington Bothell New Student and Staff Orientation Packets

Who is eligible to participate?

Any business in Bothell. You do not have to be a member of the Greater Bothell Chamber of Commerce to participate.

How much does participation in this Campaign cost?

Greater Bothell Chamber members pay $50.00. Non Chamber members pay $100.
