OPPORTUNITY ROCKS

Enjoy a free concert while promoting your business and BuyBOTHELL to over 200 residents.  Sign up to man a table at one of the Music In The Park concerts held every Friday evening from July 11th through August 22nd at Bothell Landing.  Its easy:  arrive at 5:00 pm to set up your table, provide at least one prize with a $50.00 or more retail value (no discounts please), promote your business along with BuyBOTHELL while passing out free raffle tickets, provide a written blurb about your business to be read during the prize drawing at intermission, and enjoy the concert!  BuyBOTHELL members get first option for this, any remaining dates will be opened up to Chamber members at the April General Meeting so call Brittany at 425.485.4353 to reserve your table.

NEW POSTERS

We have printed three new posters featuring these local businesses:  Banner Bank, OlsonDesign Jewelers, and Seattle Home Appliance.  The posters will be available at the next Chamber General Meeting Thursday, March 27 and are also at the Chamber office.  Posting these in high traffic areas is a very effective way to reinforce the BuyBOTHELL message.  If your old poster is looking a little rough around the edges, freshen it up and create renewed interest with a new one.

Partnering with the City

We just received notice from Terrie Battuello, Economic Development Manager for the city, that they hope to include the BuyBOTHELL logo and web site on all business licenses.  We appreciate the City’s continued support!

CURRENTLY IN THE WORKS

• We’re happy to report that so far we are right on schedule for our 2008 edition of the Guide to Goods & Services.  This year we have combined the Guide and the Chamber Directory and plan to have it in home by May 21st, two months ahead of last year’s schedule.  We’ve also increased the distribution to a total of 23,500 or 5,000 more than last year.  Each listing consists of you name, address, and phone number.  However, BuyBOTHELL members can add their website to their listing for only $25!  To order your enhanced listing, please contact the Chamber office at 425.485.4353.
• We want to have representation this year at the Bothell 4th of July Parade.  We’ll need a couple of volunteers or labor at minimum wage.  If you can help or know of someone who would be willing to pass out BuyBOTHELL candy while dressed in a BuyBOTHELL costume, call 425.485.4353.  Haven’t you always wanted to be in a parade?
